My Goal:

Picture
My goal goes beyond writing running and workout plans for individuals.  I believe in the power of the mind and the necessity for motivation on a daily basis.  It can help you in anything in life, whether its to finish a marathon or become a better mother/father to your kids.  I made this blog in order to extend my work that I already do via Facebook and Twitter in motivating, guiding and coaching individuals. I also partner up with expert and motivating individuals in order to provide you with information you can trust about fitness, nutrition and running.

On the running side, I am a firm believer of balanced training.  Don't spend every training session running.  In order to become the best runner possible, while avoiding injuries...you must learn to implement weight training, cross training and recovery sessions every week....but don't you worry, I have the recipe for your running success.  Stick with me and my team of incredible writers and bloggers and you'll find success in your running and in your life with the K-Tip Fit Club.

Since 1-1-2010 I have lost 60+ lbs on my own! Through healthy eating and fitness! There is no quick fixes in life. I did it without drugs, diet pills, surgeries, crazy diets, and no plastic surgery for this chick!

Hope Epton is an ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist and is completing a Bachelors in Exercise & Sport Science with a minor in Health Promotion. Coming from a family history riddled with chronic, yet preventable diseases, Hope had made it her mission to educate, motivate and help people change their lives. Through her blog and sense of humor, she remains honest as she struggles with the same issues as everyone else. After years of running 5ks & 10ks, she now looks to become comfortable with the half marathon distance, take on the world of triathlons, and hopefully conquering her fear of the full marathon.
